SAFETY & SECURITY
LET US CALM YOUR SECURITY ANXIETIES
Thinking about security systems can be a stressful task. No one wants to imagine possible dangers affecting their home and family, and often nervous questions pop into clients’ heads. To calm your nerves, we’ve answered a few of them already:
WHAT IF I'M GOING AWAY FOR A WEEK?
Do more than take your neighbor’s word that everything is fine. Integrated Media Systems has many options to allow you to stay informed about your home while you’re away.
HEAR FROM YOUR SYSTEM
The security system will alert you, the police, and the fire department if a break-in or fire is detected. Storm on the coast? Don’t worry, water sensors in your vacation home can detect flooding.
SEE FOR YOURSELF
Access your security cameras online. Our systems give you a secure website to view live security camera feeds and watch the monitors for damage or trouble.
NO INTERNET ACCESS WHILE AWAY?
Information from security cameras can be stored digitally. In the event of no internet access while away, you can still come home and find out what went on during your absence.
WHAT IF IT'S DARK OUTSIDE?
Outdoor cameras record in color during the day, once their sensors detect that it is dark outside an infrared illuminator will switch on, allowing you to see if anyone is lurking in the shadows.
BUMP IN THE NIGHT?
If there’s a disturbance, the touch panel’s backlight will come on making it easy to find in the dark. A live feed from each security camera will appear, simply touch the one you want to view.

FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY
Integrated Media Systems combines elite technology from different fields to provide you with the best service and system possible. One of the most useful combinations is the integration of a security and lighting system. If an emergency happens in your home, you will want the entire system working to help keep you and your family safe.
If an alarm detects that a perimeter door or window has been breached, all house lights will turn on to full brightness and the outside lights will flash, thus alerting police and neighbors for assistance. This way, any intruder will easily be seen and caught.
If a fire is detected, your lights will all go to half-brightness. Similar to turning on your car’s high beams in fog, full light in a smoky room causes confusion and may prove fatal. Again, the exterior lights will all flash, allowing the fire department to easily identify your house.
